50th Anniversary in the "City of Hate"

Today marks the 50th anniversary of the assignation of John F. Kennedy.  Kennedy was shot on Elm

Street in the middle lane in Dallas, Texas on November 22, 1963 ("November 22" 1). Dallas became

known as the "City of Hate" because of its intolerant views regarding equality (Sherwell 1).
